Funding Provided by UROP

UROP Grants Program

UROP provides two types of grants, the Research Project and Travel Grant and the Conference Travel Grant. These grants currently have no deadlines. They may be submitted during business hours ( 8-5 pm ) when classes are in session during a semester or summer session. Proposals will be reviewed and grants made within two months, sometimes sooner. Research Project and Travel Proposal Guidelines - limit of $1,000, may include a stipend up to $1,000. A student may apply once a year twice. A student may apply for a one time award of $2,000 for overseas travel for research.

UROP Conference Travel Funds Guidelines - These awards are for travel to conferences. Funding up to $1,200 if presenting at a conference and up to $600 if not presenting.

UROP Proposal Application Forms

The IUPUI McNair Scholars Program - application deadline for this program is March 1 each year.
